Our report includes all the information you require to successfully process or conclude a claim. We fully understand we may be required to support you or advise you at a later stage.
Detailed market research to be completed with reference to current market trends and guide values this may well enable you to comprehensively dispute the valuation of your vehicle offered by your insurers, in the case of your vehicle being written off.
Vehicles purchased or following a repair from an ‘S’ or ‘N’ salvage categorisation may require inspections prior to being reinsured by an insurer. We undertake these inspections to confirm that the repair methods used are acceptable and the vehicle has been repaired to a commercially acceptable standard.
We are able to provide independent valuation reports on any vehicle with Classic and Collectors’ vehicles included. Such reports can provide the instructing party with an expert valuation, usually for agreed value Insurance policies but also for dispute, unrecovered theft, and probate settlements etc.
The reporting process would include: All the relevant vehicle history checks, restoration documentation and images, as well as full condition assessment.
We will research the valuation of the vehicle using a variety of sources including industry recognised valuation guides (where applicable) and also searching for comparable vehicles for sale concurrently in the market place. These valuations can be complex and time consuming our fees for this service vary on the amount of time required. Please contact us for more info.
Diminution - meaning ‘diminished value’ may arise after a vehicle has sustained accident damage and has been subsequently repaired. It is often difficult to re-instate a vehicle to its pre-accident condition especially if welded panels have been replaced or the vehicle has been straightened on a jig re-alignment system.
Car dealers often deduct 10-25% from the vehicle's value after finding out the vehicle has been damaged and subsequently repaired. However, here at Charles Juke Assessors we find it is often the case that vehicles should be inspected and assessed on their own merit as many vehicles do not warrant a diminution claim, especially where a manufacturers repair certificate has been issued by the repairing dealership.
*Please note Diminution Claims can only be considered with regards to non-fault accidents.
At Charles Juke Assessors we are able to provide a digital image inspection service using remote estimating technologies. This service offers full control over important things such as repairs and includes the following key features:
Glassmatix is an industry recognised vehicle estimating system that allows repairers to network over estimates via the web. These can then be examined and used to agree repair times and costs, ensuring that the proposed repair costs are reasonable and that the correct repair methods are adhered to in repairing the vehicle to its pre accident condition.
Repairers are able to compile a fully costed estimate based on TTS (Thatcham Time Schedule)/manufacturers repair times and methods and submit, for our Engineer’s to audit and agree fair and reasonable costs with the repairer.
This would involve inspection of both vehicle involved and detailed height measurements of all damage. Full Part 35 report including all relevant information to proceed to a court hearing.
Our engineers have decades of experience and expertise within the motor trade/insurance industry. We can ensure all of our client’s requirements are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Industry recognised software, estimating and reporting systems used to produce accurate and easy to navigate reports.
We endeavour to undertake all inspections within 5 Days of the original instruction, and provide our report within 48 hours of our inspection.
